Avon Lake Regional Water Delays Quarterly Bills

Avon Lake Regional Water will postpone sending out quarterly bills to residents.

AVON LAKE, OH — Quarterly water bills from Avon Lake Regional Water will be postponed to provide some relief to residents reeling from the financial impacts of the new coronavirus, COVID-19, pandemic.

“Avon Lake Regional Water is dedicated to the health, safety and welfare of our customers and sanitation is a big part of that. During the National State of Emergency, everyone should maintain hygiene for their own health but also for the benefit of those with whom they may have contact. Accordingly, a temporary relaxation of collection procedures is for the general good," said John Dzwonczyk, chairman of the Avon Lake Board of Municipal Utilities.

Postponing mailing the bill will also delay when the bill is due.

"Naturally, those who are able would be well-advised to keep current on their bills, thereby avoiding a future accumulation. We wish you all good health and the forbearance to cope well in these trying times," Dzwoncyzk said.

The upcoming quarterly bill would have covered the months of December, January and February. The bill was set to hit mailboxes by March 31. However, the bill will be delayed to aid customers.
