Avon Lake Resident Complains Of Possible Stalker

AVON LAKE, OH — Police took a report two weeks ago from a resident concerned about some suspicious activity from an ex-friend. The resident said she had seen the ex-compatriot following them around and the friend's car at places the resident like to frequent.

Traffic Offense, Oct 24 — An officer responded to a car accident near Walker Road. While investigating what happened, the officer learned that one of the drivers had a suspended license. The officer cited that driver and released them at the scene.

Suspicious Activity, Oct. 24 — An Avon Lake resident came to the police station to report that a former friend had been following her around. The resident confronted the ex-friend and told him to stop shadowing her. However, she said she still sees his car at places she frequents.

Found Property, Oct. 24 — A man stopped by Avon Lake Police Station to turn in a watch that his son found at the intersection of Inwood and Redwood. The man had tried to find the watch's owner but wasn't successful.

Death Investigation, Oct. 27 — Police were sent to a Fay Ave. home to check on the welfare of an elderly resident. The resident was found deceased on their couch. The coroner was contacted.

Missing Person, Oct. 28 — A juvenile boy didn't come home one night and his mother reported him missing to police. The boy returned home the next day after reportedly spending the night at a friend's house.
