Avon Lake Schools Get 'A' On State Report Card
The district is again among the highest-performing schools systems in Ohio.
AVON LAKE, OH β The controversial state report cards grading each school system in the state were released Thursday. The Avon Lake City Schools receive an overall grade of "A."
"We are appreciative of the dedication and hard work by the schools, our students, our families, and our community that enables us to consistently perform at this high level," said Avon Lake Superintendent Robert Scott in an email to Patch.
Scott emphasized that the report card is just a snapshot of student achievement and does not accurately capture the broader view of education happening in the district.
