Avon Lake Students Make Donation To Community Group
The group of Eastview Elementary student volunteers were able to see first-hand what their generosity of spirit can do.

AVON LAKE, OH β The Avon and Avon Lake Community Resource Services group recently had a visit from a group of students from Eastview Elementary School. The students, who had been volunteering all year, were able to see the results of their labor.
The students are part of the Library Shelf Elf group. They volunteer during their recess, helping out in the library. They read to first-graders, help them select a book, shelve books, repair books, and help check books in and out.
During the holiday season, students helped others pick gifts during the Snowflake Shoppee in the library.
