Avon Lake Turns Barnyard: Neighbor Complains of Loud Goat in the 45s

Police checked on a Norman Avenue address Aug. 17 after neighbors complained of a loud goat causing a disturbance. The homeowner was advised and told police the goats were going back to the farm that night.

On Aug. 12, homeowners on Nottingham Drive and Brandon Place reported their homes were egged. The egging and goat incidents were not believed to be related.

A vehicle-less man parked himself on a Walker Road home in the middle of the day on Aug. 8. The was asked to leave but decided to sit under trees on private property. The man, described as “tall wearing khaki pants and carrying baggage” was picked up by police and taken to the Bay Village line.
Lacrosse too loud for neighbor
A man contacted police on Aug. 15 to say his neighbor was hitting a lacrosse ball into a net and it “sounded like and atomic bomb” was going off. The man then reported the noise had subsided.
