Avon Named Best City In Lorain County: Niche
Niche has released its rankings for 2021's best places to live.
AVON, OH — Avon was ranked as the best city in Lorain County to call home, according to new rankings from Niche.
Avon earned an overall grade of "A+" and topped other communities like Oberlin and Avon Lake on the list. Avon rated as the fourteenth best Cleveland suburb to call home and the best city to live in in Lorain County.
The rankings were determined by using data from the U.S. Census Bureau, FBI, CDC and other agencies, combined with reviews from people that live in the area.

The rankings consider a variety of topics to determine a town or city's standing, including affordability, local housing market, neighborhood diversity, local public schools and walkability, to name a few.

Nationally, Niche's research found that Chesterbrook, PA was the best place to live in America, while The Woodlands, TX earned top honors in the Best Cities to Live in America rankings.
