Avon Ranked As 3rd Best Suburb In Northeast Ohio

AVON and AVON LAKE, OH — After being ranked the number one suburb in Northeast Ohio in 2016, the city of Avon has tumbled slightly to the number three spot in the Cleveland Magazine Rating the Suburbs rankings. Neighboring Avon Lake also fell six spots to 16.

This year's number one ranked suburb is Richfield. Last year, the Summit County city was ranked third, meaning it swapped spots with Avon. Beachwood also managed to jump in front of Avon, moving to 2 on the list.

Avon Lake meanwhile dropped six spots versus its 2016 ranking. The city was ranked at the 10th best suburb in Northeast Ohio in 2016.

Neighboring Westlake landed at seven on the list, down two spots from 2016. Bay Village stayed at four for the second year in the row.
