Avon's Lee Has Eagles Looking From a Great Height

Lee might be squeamish about how tall he is but not his game

Senior teammate attempted to pull the same stunt a few weeks ago, with a healthy amount of teasing from his buddies, of course.

Lee is 6-1 on the season with a 1.54 ERA and earned his first save of the season Monday afternoon as the Eagles rallied from a three-run deficit to defeat Mayfield, 5-3.

Lee sat down with Avon Patch.com for a quick look into his life.

1. Who is your favorite athlete?

Omar Vizquel (former Indians shortstop). He just went out and did what he did every day. He worked hard and obviously was one of the best at what he did.

2. What’s your favorite personal athletic moment in your career?

Probably setting the record for most wins in a season (23 for the team last season). Winning our first conference championship (last season). Going pretty deep into the playoffs (district final last season).

3. What’s your favorite food?

Probably spaghetti. It’s just a classic. It’s good. Mom’s is pretty good.

4. What are your plans for the future?

Next year, I’ll be going to Ohio State to study chemical engineering. I might be playing club, but I think this is probably it for sports.

5. What’s your favorite video game?

I like MLB 2K12. It’s pretty good at the moment. It’s probably my favorite. Baseball is one of the games I love. It’s fun to play.
