AVON, OH β€” The Avon High School String Quartet will take part in the traveling Beatles vs Rolling Stones concert when it visits Elyria. The high school band will join musicians on stage to lend local talent to the British Invasion homage.

The show features professional musicians playing songs from the Rolling Stones and the Beatles in a competition for musical dominance. The string quartet will perform seven songs with the bands.

During the September 17 concert at the Stocker Arts Center, costumed tribute bands will perform the greatest hits of both bands as the Stones and Beatles "face-off." The show features unique multimedia, vintage instruments and period costumes.
