Bicycle Stolen Out Of Avon Lake Woman's Garage

AVON LAKE, OH — Someone stole a bicycle out of an Avon Lake woman's detached garage last week, according to police reports. The bicycle is worth approximately $280.

According to police records, the woman discovered her bike had been stolen on August 26. She reported the theft to police the same day.

The woman said her bike had been stored in her detached garage at her Drummond Street house. The bike was stolen between the evening of August 24 and the morning of August 25. The garage was closed but not locked during that time.

The stolen bicycle is a Firmstrong Urban females cruiser bicycle. It is 26 inches, chrome colored and has a back seat. The bicycle also has a coupler for a baby bike trailer to attach to. The front and back of the bike had attached lights. There are also purple lights on bike's spokes.

Police records indicated the estimated value of the bicycle is $280. The bike was purchased within the last year and is in good working order.

There are no suspects at this time, according to police records.
