Georgio’s Oven Fresh Pizza Co. opened its newest location at 36962 Detroit Rd. in Avon on August 23.

With more than 43 locations across northeast Ohio, the Georgio’s brand focuses on fresh food, ready when the customers want it.

Owner and general manager Joe Kahl said his goal is to bring an enjoyable, affordable product to the community during these tough economic times without sacrificing quality. Kahl said he understands the difficulties of feeding a large family inexpensively.

Along with its made-to-order menu items that include wings, subs, calzones, wraps, salads, and specialty pizzas, Georgio’s also offers a large pepperoni or cheese pizza for $4.99. Georgio’s guarantees its fresh-and-ready concept, Kahl said. If a pizza is not sold within 15 minutes, he discards it, and prepares a new one.

The fresh and ready deal is offered daily and is readily available, making it easy and convenient to pick up dinner without placing an order. But for those who want more, don’t fret, there’s an app for that. Georgio’s now offers online ordering from your computer or smartphone, even allowing customers to bookmark their favorite pies for future orders, cutting down on the processing time.

And if you think that Georgio’s uses canned, pre-made ingredients in their pizzas, you can “fahgettaboudit.” Each day before opening, Kahl and his staff chop vegetables, shred cheese, and hand roll their own dough prepared from a Georgio’s family recipe.
