Boys & Girls Clubs Opening New Locations In Lorain County

Two new Boys & Girls Clubs will give students a safe place to go after school.

SHEFFIELD LAKE, OH — Two afterschool Boys & Girls Clubs will open in Lorain County in early November.

“We are extremely excited to open these two clubs and provide kids with the kinds of positive, nurturing activities that will help them grow into caring and responsible adults,” said Boys and Girls Clubs President Jeff Scott.

The clubs will be located at schools in in Sheffield and Sheffield Lake. Applications to join each club can be picked up at each school. There is no charge to join.

The clubs will be located Knollwood Elementary in Sheffield and Brookside International School in Sheffield Lake. Both clubs will open Nov. 2.

At Knollwood, first and second graders will be able to go to the club after school and stay until 6:30 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. At Brookside, the club will have the same hours and is open to kids in grades 3 through 6.
