OK gang, I need some elbow rubbing, story telling, advice sharing time spent with parents who understand my life. I adore all my friends and family, but really think time commiserating with other parents of special needs kids is absolutely vital at this point.
What was I thinking? How about we start with a once a month dinner at a local restaurant and see how it goes? Who's in? Everyone pays for themself, I'll do the legwork to set it all up. Maybe we can graduate to a bi-monthly thing and then even play dates for the kids.
Time to drum up some community and I know y'all are out there . . .
