The Lions Club is hosting its annual clambake and steak fry at Tom's Country Place on September 28, 2012 at 6:30-midnight. This is a great event and one of the few remaining "small town" meetings where you can get together with your family and neighbors and enjoy the evening.
If you've never been to a Lions clabake/steak fry you have been missing a good time that has been going on in the area for over twenty years. There is raffles all night long, great food, and music by Tom Todd that will have you up and dancing. I hope that everyone will take the time and come out to support the Lions-we have members in Avon and Avon Lake, such as myself, and we serve both communities with much needed charitable causes.
