Happy Feelings!

Webster defines happy as marked by pleasure! Today was marked by pleasure for a buying client of mine. Before signing her final documents and depositing her funds, we completed the final walk through today. This is part of the purchase agreement terms to ensure the home's condition hadn't been changed since her previous visit. 

Joined by her first visitors (boyfriend and brother) the happiness was shared.  Their remarks and hugs revived her excitement! She was an amazing client to work for. As an Interior Designer, she vividly described her plans for refinishing the "lack luster" hardwood floors. Kitchen knobs or handles on the newer wood cabinetry? Would the "antique" style bedroom light fixture stay or be removed?  Staying! Selecting the right spot for the backyard fire pit!  When would the blacktopped drive need to be resurfaced? This walk through segment of the contract terms makes the pleasure all MINE!

My feelings of satisfaction, knowing in three days she will have the keys to the next phase of her life, made my day! She made a huge decision and she chose me to represent her. She trusted me to negotiate her largest investment.  The marked pleasure I receive when a buyer (or seller) hugs me! Sharing their HAPPY FEELINGS when I congratulate them on fulfilling their American Dream reminds me how lucky I am to be a REALTOR!
