I once had a colleague who led a sales team at a paint company. He talked about the power of language in motivating his team.

I remember him saying “Yeah, we could say we sell paint, but that’s not all that gratifying. When we say that we bring color into someone’s world, it’s a completely different story”.

I love this, because it applies to anything we do. I could say that I coach people, but I often think of my work as helping people unlock happiness in their lives. How does language impact your daily work?
