Looking for Something New on TV?
You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll want to see them again and again. ALMU debuts a series on ALC-TV 8/17.
Are you looking for something for your kids to watch on TV? Is there nothing on television holding your attention? Tune in to Avon Lake Municipal Utilities’ new series on ALC-TV (Time Warner channel 12) loosely about water.
As a service to our customers, ALMU has received broadcast approval for a variety of interesting and informative shows that will be aired on Avon Lake Community Television multiple times per day, each for a week. The Water Series is meant to attract both younger and more mature audiences. For the series debut on August 17 and rebroadcast through August 23, Liquid Assets will be aired. It is a 90 minute documentary about our nation’s drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater systems, which uses four cities/communities as examples to present the successes and current state of these systems.

The second week (8/24 – 8/30) will present a show entitled, Professor Water and the Amazing Water Cycle, in which two children learn about the water cycle in humorous and interesting ways.

The series will continue to the best extent possible targeting younger audiences one week and more mature audiences the following week.
As time and projects permit, ALMU will provide short segments on on-going projects. As a customer and user, you will enjoy learning more about what ALMU is doing to provide you with quality drinking water, collect and treat your wastewater, maintain the overall water treatment, distribution and collection system, and protect your environment.
