Ohio State Faces a Tough Spartan Team
Who is ready for some more College Football Madness? I am, and I predict a couple upsets too.

Who is ready for another exciting weekend of College Football? I am!
First let’s look at Ohio State’s win last weekend vs. Colorado.
Starting the True Freshman Braxton Miller worked out for the Buckeyes, as Braxton was able to find his rhythm after a few incompletions. He was no pocket passer, by any means, but did throw 5 completions for 83 yards, and also ran for another 84 yards. The defense held Colorado’s running game to 76 yards, but did allow over 200 yards passing, which is something that they cannot allow this weekend. Overall this was a great bounce back for a team that struggled to score a touchdown against Miami, and was knocked out of the top 25.

This week they face a tough Michigan St. Spartans team that suffered an embarrassing loss to Notre Dame a few weeks ago. While the Spartans have dominated the other teams they have played (Youngstown State, Florida Atlantic, and Central Michigan), these teams are not a big test for what the Big 10 has to offer this season. First up for Sparty is the Buckeyes. And to win this game MSU must stop Miller, if they stop Miller they stop the Buckeyes. They must make him throw the ball, as Posey is still out for another week. Unless Miller can do what Pryor did against Oregon a couple years ago, I feel this may be a loss for Ohio State. On the other side, Ohio State needs to contain Michigan State’s offense, if they hope to have a chance. The defense has been weak, compared to previous years, and needs to stop Cousins from throwing all over the defense. The line has been strong this season, and if they can prevent Bell from making the big play (while also forcing turnovers) the defense can win the game for the Buckeyes. A short field means less mistakes for a young offense, and hopefully, more touchdowns.
My Prediction…… Michigan St. 24 Ohio St. 20 (Although I am definitely rooting for the Bucks)

The Game of the Week, Wisconsin vs Nebraska, is looking to be a smashmouth classic Big Ten mash-up even with Nebraska making their Big Ten debut.
Wisconsin is led by their running backs Ball and White, which combined have ran for over 600 yards… before October! While Russel Wilson has passed for over 1,000 yards, and has a completion percentage of over 75 percent! How can this be? Well they have played an easy schedule up to this point, their toughest challenge has been against UNLV where the Badgers won 51-17. Now that they are playing a top 10 team we will find out how good Wisconsin really is. On the other side is Nebraska, whose offense consists of Taylor Martinez and….Taylor Martinez. He leads the Cornhuskers in Touchdowns, rushing yards, and passing yards. Martinez has totaled for over 1000 yards by himself. But as good as his numbers are, he is prone to turning the ball over, and when pressed he has not shown that he can be a reliable passer. Going up against a nasty Wisconsin defense, in Wisconsin, will definitely not be easy for this young QB. In order to get the W, Nebraska needs to score at least 40 points, while Wisconsin simply needs to make Martinez make plays with his arm.
Prediction, Wisconsin 46 Nebraska 13
Other picks for this week.
UPSET ALERT
Northwestern goes up against a surging Illini team, and have their shot to take them down. Northwestern is not that bad, and Illinois is not that good.
Northwestern 27 Illini 25
Texas A&M tries to rebound after losing to the Cowboys, while Arkansas failed to keep up with Alabama. Which team can avoid a 2 game losing streak?
Texas A&M 31 Arkansas 21
Last but not least, Clemson vs Virginia Tech. A battle of the unbeaten in the ACC (GTech is also undefeated) Virginia Tech is on a road to a potential championship, and their biggest obstacle to date is Clemson, while Clemson is a young team with a skilled QB and receivers. Will VT be able to stop the passing attack?
Clemson 34 VT 28
