Unsure about Basic Retirement Expenses?

1/3: Fraction of US residents ages 55-65 unsure of basic retirement expenses

A recent study of 1,000 people ages 55 to 65 by Allianz found that not only are near-retirees concerned about outliving their income, but 1/3 of those surveyed don't have a grasp on how much money they may need to cover basic living expenses in retirement. Although it is common to concentrate on working and put off retirement planning for later, the fact is that starting early will achieve the best results.
