Burglary on Bay Hill Drive in Avon Lake: Police

AVON LAKE, OH - Police are investigating a break-in on Bay Hill Drive. A resident on the street reported that someone broke into their home and made off with a 14 karat gold ring, cash, and a bank bag of coins.

Burglary, Nov. 23 - A home on Bay Hill Drive was broken into and money and jewelry were stolen. The scene was photographed and police continue to investigate the incident.

Suspicious Activity, Nov. 24 - A resident reported feeling that she was being "bullied." She said that mysterious thing keep happening to her home and car.

Driving Under Suspension, Nov. 30 - Officers saw a car speeding at 54 mph through Walker Road. After stopping the car, it was discovered that the driver had a suspended license. The vehicle was turned over to a valid driver.

OVI, Nov. 30 - Officers stopped a car going 60 mph in a 25 mph zone on Moore Road. After stopping the vehicle, an officer determined the driver was intoxicated and cited him for operating a vehicle under the influence.

Criminal Damaging, Nov. 18 - A Lorain woman who works in the city believes a coworker keyed her car. Police photographed the damage to the woman's door and agreed to speak to the coworker.
