Car Stolen From Avon Lake Resident

AVON LAKE, OH — A Hyundai Accent was stolen from an Avon Lake resident this week, according to police reports.

The car was parked on Teasel Court overnight, between May 19 and May 20. At about 7:30 a.m. on Monday, May 20, the owner of the car discovered his Accent was missing and contacted police.

Investigators took information about the car and then entered the Accent into a database of missing vehicles. Avon Lake police said the car was later found in Cleveland.

The Accent had three stickers adhered to the rear window, all from colleges and universities. According to police reports, there were University of Cincinnati stickers, a University of Michigan sticker, and an Indiana University sticker.
