Car Stolen From Dealership In Avon Lake
Police are searching for a person who stole a Dodge Challenger Hellcat from Ed Tomko Chrylser.
AVON LAKE, OH — A Dodge Challenger Hellcat was stolen from an Avon Lake business recently, police announced. Detectives are still searching for the thief.
At 8:40 a.m. on April 17, a staffer at Ed Tomko Chrysler, on Walker Road, called police and said a Hellcat had been stolen from the lot. Investigators found that a second vehicle on the lot had been damaged, possibly by the same thief who then stole the Hellcat.
Police believe the theft took place overnight, between April 16 and April 17.

A search of the Ed Tomko website found the Hellcat was being sold for more than $70,000.
An Avon Lake police spokesperson said detectives are still searching for the car thief. There are no suspects in the theft yet.
