Christine "Crissy" Winchester, 64, Lifelong Avon Lake Resident

Christine "Crissy" Winchester (nee Scheel), 64, passed away Saturday, Feb. 18, 2012 following a short illness. She was born in Lakewood on Feb.  3, 1948 and was a homemaker, mother and grandmother.

Mrs. Winchester, a lifetime resident of Avon Lake, is survived by her husband Robert J. Winchester. High school sweethearts, they married on April 22, 1967. She is also survived by three daughters: Callie Smith of Rocky River, Melissa Winchester of Colorado and Megan Milner (Matthew) of Fairview Park.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, Feb. 23 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Spirit Church, 410 Lear Rd. in Avon Lake.

A reception will be held on Thursday, Feb. 23 from 3 p.m. – 7 p.m. at The Lake House, 32756 Lake Rd. in Avon Lake.
