Citizen of the Year Contest In Avon Lake Accepting Nomination
The deadline for nominations is March 14, 2017.

AVON LAKE, OH - The city recently announced its 2017 Avon Lake Council Citizen of the Year/Project of the Year contests are now open. The deadline for nominations is March 14, 2017. So it's coming up quick.
The nominating form for residents asks for information on what groups the resident serves on, what community service projects the resident is involved in, and any anecdotes or history the resident has that might help them stick out from the rest of the nominees.

The nominating form for a project is also available online. It asks you to explain why the project warrants community-wide and what impact the project has had on the community as a whole.

The completed forms can be dropped off at Avon Lake City Hall, emailed to modonnell@avonlake.org, or mailed to Martin O'Donnell, City of Avon Lake, 150 Avon Belden Road, Avon Lake, OH 44012.
