City Readies for Water Line Replacement

Temporary water main installation almost complete

The temporary water main connections on Belmar and Artsdale drives to are almost complete. The water line replacement is scheduled to begin Monday, Sept. 12.

Affected residents will be notified 48 hours ahead of schedule where and when crews will be working. Local access and school bus traffic will be maintained. All motorists are advised to drive with caution and not to park on tree lawns within work areas.

Any concerns relating to either water main construction, road repair or vehicle damage should be directed to at 440-933-6226 on workdays and 440-933-3229 on weekends and holidays.

The longest pipe bursting run so far

Pipe bursting continues with the installation of an additional 394 feet of sanitary sewer main and 13 home laterals on Inwood Drive.

The project’s longest single run was completed Tuesday morning between Durrell Avenue and Bellaire Road. Site restoration continues on Bellaire. Residents will be notified 48 hours ahead of work schedules and asked to reduce water usage while work crews reconnect home laterals. Local access and school bus traffic will be maintained. Please do not park on tree lawns within work areas.
