Coffee With An Avon Cop Coming Oct. 4
Residents can meet the men and women that patrol their city over a steaming cup of java.

AVON, OH — Avon Police will once again take part in a national movement designed to bring together communities and the officers that protect and serve them. National Coffee With a Cop Day is being held throughout Northeast Ohio communities, including Avon on Oct. 4.
Officers will be posted at Barry Bagles, 2100 Center Rd., from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.. Residents will be able to ask questions on any topic they wish, or simply chat about life as a cop.
There is typically no agenda for Coffee with a Cop events and residents can discuss any issue they wish with the officers. Many police departments throughout Northeast Ohio take part in the Coffee with a Cop program, including Lakewood, Solon and Beachwood.
