Walker Road immediately west of Moore Road will be closed from April 4 through June 24 for the removal and replacement of the Powdermaker Ditch culvert.   Businesses will remain open during construction; drivers should follow marked detours. The project includes new traffic signals and left turn lanes in all directions at the Moore and Walker roads intersection. The current signal will be replaced with a device that has a pre-emptive emergency signal. Contact the Avon Lake Engineering Department at 440-930-4101 with questions.
