In addition to council and the mayor's reports, l will review several items at the Aug. 22 and is expected to approve to appointments. Tonight's agenda includes motions to approve Judy Kaminski and William Gallagher to the for a term that ends at the end of 2011. Council will also decide if they will accept an $11,998 bid by Richard's Tree &amp; Crane Service to in Weiss Field and Sunset Park. Before approving the legislation in the upcoming weeks, Council will also review a job description for the Interim Assistant Fire Chief as well as provide for the appointment of Current Fire Chief Bill Morris will be retiring this year. Prior to the Aug. 22 meeting, the city's Human Resource Committee will meet to discuss the duties and salary of the Interim Assistant Fire Chief position. Avon Lake City Council meets every Monday (with the possible exception of the fifth Wednesday of the month) at 7:30 p.m. Meetings are also televised live on and are repeated the following week.
