Crash On I-90 In Avon Sends 2 To Hospital

AVON, OH — Police are investigating an early morning crash on I-90 in Avon on Wednesday. Two people were hurt in the accident.

One woman has been charged for driving the wrong way on the highway, reportedly leading to the crash. The woman and the driver of the car she hit were both taken to the hospital. Their condition is not yet known.

Avon Police told Fox 8 they were unable to use Life Flight for the injured drivers because of the weather.

I-90 was briefly shut down between approximately 12:30 a.m. and 2 a.m. The highway has since re-opened.

Fox 8 is reporting that Jennifer Quinn has been charged with operating a vehicle impaired for the crash. Additional charges could be added after police have completed their investigation.
