Crisis Care Center For Children Holding Fundraiser In Avon
The major event will benefit the Blessing House, which cares for kids up to 12-years-old.

From Blessing House: A night of fine dining and dancing awaits those who attend the 14th Annual Rock-A-Bye Ball to be held on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Tom’s Country Place to benefit Blessing House. The event will run from 6 pm to 11 pm and includes gourmet dining, and entertainment, along with a live auction, a silent auction and raffles. This year our theme is “Black & White” and guests are encouraged to dress casual to cocktail in black and/or white. Over 200 guests are expected to enjoy an evening of fun and friendship.
This year, Kathleen Beharry will be receiving our Jimmy Davis Heart for Service Award. Kathleen has been an active volunteer at Blessing House for over 10 years, serving on the Blessing House Rock-a-Bye Ball committee, Mother’s Day Tea committee and helping with various other fundraisers and projects. This past year Kathleen was part of a collaboration that produced a book titled, “A Bath and a Nap for Moses.” Kathleen wrote the story about Sr. Mary’s Golden Retriever, Moses, spending a day at Blessing House. 500 copies were sold and distributed to children who enjoyed this delightful story with all proceeds benefiting Blessing House. Our silent auction this year will feature over 100 items ranging in value from $25 to $1,000. Included in the silent auction are tickets to sporting and entertainment events, fashion items, salon and spa certificates and many other great items. Online bidding for silent auction items begins November 5th at blessing.givesmart.com.
Tickets for the Rock-A-Bye Ball are $130 each and can be obtained online through our website, www.blessinghouse.org, or by calling 440-240-1851.
