'Critical' Blood Drives Coming To Avon Lake
Avon Lake residents are encouraged to take part in these "critical" blood drives.
AVON LAKE, OH — There will be three "critical need" blood drives in Avon Lake in June. All three events will be held at the Old Firehouse, 100 Avon Belden Road.
The blood drives will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on June 6, 13 and 20. Appointments are encouraged, but walk-ins will be accepted. Appointments can be made by calling 1-877-258-4825. Appointments can also be made online.
All donors will be required to wear a mask during the blood drive. Staff at the event will also be wearing masks.

In a flyer promoting the event, LifeShare said volunteers would be helping patients during the new coronavirus pandemic.
