Do You Want to Build a Snowman? Submit Your Frosty to Avon Lake

Hit the park or your yard and start balling up that snow, there could be a prize in it for you.

AVON LAKE, OH - If you're ready to stop singing about building a snowman and get into the yard and start constructing your own, then the city of Avon Lake has a prize waiting for you. Submit a picture to the city by Feb. 28 and you'll be entered into the contest.

The contest is open to any residents of Avon Lake. All you have to do is build a snowman at Avon Lake Park or in your yard, snap a picture of the snowman, and submit the photograph to the city's Parks and Recreation Office.

There's no restrictions on using props or limits on what you can build. Want to build Elsa's ice castle? Think you can build an ice fortress complete with subterranean tunnel system? Ready to show off your ability to sculpt snow into a perfect resemblance of Grover Cleveland? This is your chance. There's no limits on what you can do.
