Dog Attacks 2 Pets In Avon Lake Park, Police Say
A dog owner was cited for letting their animal run free, attacking two other dogs, at Kopf Family Reservation.

AVON LAKE, OH — Last week, Avon Lake police cited a man for letting his dog attack two other pets at the Kopf Family Reservation in the Lorain County Metroparks. Officers said the animal caused one pet owner to tumble over, causing minor injuries to the person.
At 6 p.m. on October 23, police were sent to the Kopf Reservation for reports of a dog attack. Investigators determined one dog had attacked a smaller dog, causing the smaller dog's owner to fall.
The next day, October 24, police learned the attacking dog had also fought with another pet belonging to a different owner. Both attacks happened in the Kopf Family Reservation on October 23, police records said.
