Dorothy M. Bates, 92, Library of Congress Retiree

Dorothy M. Bates (nee Mathews), 92, a 10-year resident of Avon Lake, who retired in 1979 as a researcher for the Library of Congress, died July 20.

Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until 10 a.m. services Saturday, July 23, at , 33119 Electric Blvd., Avon Lake, OH 44012, where Bates was a member.
