Drug Incident At Avon Lake Football Game: Police
A juvenile was busted with a banned item during a recent game.

AVON LAKE, OH — The last week of October saw Avon Lake cops grappling with a variety of incidents, including two drug issues. A juvenile was seen with some kind of banned item at a recent Avon Lake High School football game. That incident was passed onto the school district to deal with.

Drug Investigation, Oct. 27 — An officer working an Avon Lake high school football game saw a juvenile with a prohibited item of some kind. The issue has been turned over to the school district to be dealt with.

Juvenile Complaint, Oct. 30 — Police were sent to a home on Williamsburg Drive for reports of a juvenile getting out of control. The juvenile was refusing to go to school and had been throwing things in the house. The case has been forwarded to Lorain County Juvenile Court.
Breaking and Entering, Oct. 30 — Liquor was stolen from a residence on West Shore.

Theft, Oct. 30 — The owner of a Domino's in Avon Lake reported that he suspected an employee of stealing money from the cash register. The owner confronted the employee, who denied the accusation. The owner fired the employee but did not wish to pursue charges.
Theft, Oct. 31 — A handicap placard was stolen from a woman's car while it was parked at Giant Eagle, 31990 Walker Rd.
Traffic Complaint, Nov. 1 — An officer stopped a black Kia going west on Walker Road after it drifted left of center. The driver was ultimately cited for possession of marijuana.
