Eat Bagels At Support Avon Schools Fundraiser

AVON, OH — Barry Bagels will host a fundraiser for the Support Avon Schools levy campaign this month. The store will donate 20 percent of the purchase price of orders to the campaign on October 30.

To participate in the fundraiser, customers will need to either mention the promotional flyer for the campaign. Sales from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. can be donated. The fundraiser is not open to delivery orders.

Barry Bagels is located at 2100 Center Road, Avon. Information on the Support Avon Schools group can be found on their social media accounts.

A similar fundraiser was held at Chipotle earlier this month, with proceeds from some sales going to the Avon Local Schools Committee.

The Avon Local Schools Committee is advocating for Issues 8 and 9. Issue 8 is a 3.9-mill levy which will support district operations, and Issue 9 is a bond issue for the performing arts center and renovations. Issue 9 is not an increase on what residents currently pay, the committee said on its website.
