Elyria Man Accused Of Illegally Having Gun, Having Fentanyl
The Department of Justice said a man convicted of drug trafficking illegally had a shotgun.
ELYRIA, OH — An Elyria man has been accused of illegally having a gun and trying to sell narcotics, the Department of Justice announced.
Demann Wilson, 30, was indicted on one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm and one count of possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance. He was investigated by the FBI and the Elyria Police Department.
Wilson had fentanyl and an American Arms 12-gauge shotgun, with ammunition, on July 11, the DOJ said. Wilson was barred from having a gun because he had previously been convicted of drug trafficking, the indictment said.
