ELYRIA, OH — Two people have been arrested for breaking into an Elyria school on Thanksgiving day. The duo allegedly smashed a window to get into the building.

Randy Messer, Jr. and Michelle Slagle have both been charged with breaking and entering, according to WKYC. They are currently being held in Lorain County Jail.

Security footage from Northwood Junior High showed the pair climbing into the school, police said. Slagle was reportedly arrested first, and Messer turned himself in after she was taken into custody.
