Erie Burger Company Expands In Avon Lake
The restaurant grabbed one of its neighboring units and has significantly increased its square footage.

AVON LAKE, OH — The Erie Burger Company is celebrating its expansion on Thursday. The company will have a ribbon cutting ceremony at 4 p.m., featuring members of the city administration and owners of the burger joint.
The restaurant, owned by three people, wanted to expand into the unit next door. They blew out a wall and joined the two, and put a server window in the back to join the units. The reconfigured restaurant has a new bar back-to-back with seating around the outside.
Located at 32822 Walker Rd., the Erie Burger Company first opened in February 2017. The restaurant has been expanding its square footage. “We wanted to keep a feel of almost two separate businesses combined in one because we already had the nicely lit family atmosphere on the existing side,” said Tom French, one of the owners of Erie Burger.

“We were seeing that we were selling a decent amount of alcohol just on the existing side,”he added. “We wanted to stick to the theme of the all-natural ingredients that we had going on the burger side. So all of the drinks on our cocktail menu are made with real fruit and juice.”
The company will also be expanding its hours. From Monday through Thursday, Erie Burger Company will now be open from 11 a.m. to 10:45 p.m. On Friday and Saturday, the restaurant will be open from 11 a.m. to 12:45 a.m., and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
