Environmental Affairs Advisory Board/Deer Management

The Environmental Affairs Advisory Board (EAAB), which is a board constituted by the Avon Lake Charter and appointed by City Council, will be addressing a deer management issue at its next regular meeting on February 1, 2012 at 6:30 pm at the Lake House. As a city-chartered board, it is a public meeting, and there will be an opportunity for public input. All individuals interested in issues relating to deer in Avon Lake are encouraged to attend.

In particular, EAAB will be considering draft legislation relating to prohibiting the feeding of deer within the city, and potentially making a recommendation to City Council, through its Environmental Committee, relating to a proposed ordinance.
