Every Child Park Groundbreaking May 31 In Avon

AVON, OH — The Every Child's Playground in Avon will get a special groundbreaking event on May 31 during. The park is the result of a collaboration between the city, French Creek Foundation, Flavorseal, the Lorain Public Library System, and the Christian Heritage Church.

The playground space will be a multi-acre site. The park will be located next to the Avon Aquatic Facility.

The park will be accessible to all children, regardless of ability. The city said in a statement that it hopes the park will create a meaningful play opportunity for all children.

The groundbreaking ceremony will be held May 31 at 10 a.m. The park is located at 36265 Detroit Rd.
