Feces Left On Front Porch Of Historic Avon Lake Home
Police believe a man defecated on the front porch of the Folger Home.

AVON LAKE, OH — Police believe an older man defecated on the front porch of the historic Folger Home. Investigators are trying to contact the suspect.
On May 12, a member of the Avon Lake Services Department found feces on the front porch of the Folger Home. He contacted police, believing it to be a prank or vandalism.
Officers reviewed the security footage and saw an older man relieving himself on the home's front porch. The man's car was also captured on surveillance footage, allowing police to identify him. Officers said the suspect is not a Lakewood resident.

An Avon Lake police spokesperson said the man is being cited with disorderly conduct.
The Folger Home, on Lake Road, was built in 1902. The property transferred into municipal hands in 1926 and, throughout its century-long existence, has served as a home, a court, a caretaker's apartment and offices for the village and city of Avon Lake.
