"As low pressure over northwest Pennsylvania pulls away to the northeast today, lake enhanced rain showers are expected to continue downwind of Lake Erie. Rainfall will become more localized with variable amounts of a quarter to a half inch through tonight. Area rivers, streams, and creeks may continue to rise today as runoff moves through area waterways. Additional flooding of low lying and poor drainage areas remains possible," the National Weather Service said.

There is a 70 percent chance of rain throughout Friday and into Saturday morning. Current forecasts show storms tapering off by Saturday night, before rain returns on Sunday night.
