Free Outdoor Fitness Court Opens In Avon
The city is partnering with the National Fitness Campaign to install a state-of-the-art outdoor gym for all ages.

AVON, OH — A new, state-of-the-art outdoor gym is coming to Avon thanks to a partnership between the city and the National Fitness Campaign. The facility will be installed at the Avon Aquatic Facility and Park and will be suitable for all ages.
“Physical fitness is an important component in keeping all generations healthy," said Mayor Bryan Jensen. “Our Fitness Court is located in a city park alongside our Aquatic Facility. This will be an area where opportunities for health and wellness are all around you!”
The city said in a press release that the health and wellness of residents is a key priority, which led to the partnership with NFC and the decision to install the Fitness Court. The new facility will be an outdoor bodyweight circuit training track. There is also a free Fitness Court App that residents can download and use to track their training progress, learning new training routines or compete in fitness challenges.
