Free Pop-Up COVID-19 Testing Coming To Lorain County
The Ohio Department of Health will host another free COVID-19 testing site in Lorain County on Oct. 9.
OBERLIN, OH — There will be free COVID-19 testing in Oberlin on Friday.
The testing site will be run by the Ohio Department of Health and will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Anyone can get a free test at the site, no appointment or doctor's referral is needed.
However, testing may be limited by supplies.

The testing site will be held at the Oberlin Recreation Complex, 225 W. Hamilton St.
"Pop-up testing sites throughout Ohio are open to anyone. The other regional locations will be announced soon," the Ohio Department of Health said.

Previous pop-up testing was held in Avon Lake.
In September, there were 190 confirmed COVID-19 cases among Lorain County residents. Nineteen of those residents were hospitalized because of the virus. Two Lorain County residents died from complications caused by COVID-19.
