Free Seminars For Avon Parents Start September 11
Learn about the lurking dangers the Internet poses for children, how to handle bullying at school and more.
AVON, OH β Avon Schools' annual seminars for parents will begin September 11. All of the sessions are free to attend. Topics range from setting boundaries to dealing with bullying to understanding mental health.
"To support our families, Avon Local Schools annually presents a series of seminars designed to meet specific needs for the family. All seminars are held at the Avon Middle School in the Media Center (7:00β8:30 p.m.)," the district said in a flyer for the events.
This year, there will be six seminars for parents. Each session features a different presenter, with representatives from the FBI and different nonprofit groups set to lead seminars.
