Free Tax Help Coming to Avon Lake
Starting Feb. 1, tax experts will aid senior citizens and low income residents with their filings, courtesy of the AARP.

AVON LAKE, OH - Tax season will be upon us all soon. For many people, that means a stretch of intimidation, confusion, bewilderment, and occasionally anger. Taxes do not inspire good feelings in most people.
However, if you're one of the folks that has relied on the help of others to get your taxes prepared for filing, you may not have need to pay for a service this year. The AARP Foundation's Tax Aide program is rolling into Avon Lake and surrounding communities.
Starting Feb. 1 and continuing through April 15, residents will be able to make an appointment with a program representative and get help prepping their taxes. The program is open to senior citizens and low-income residents.
