Every year our family has hosted a french student and every year I seem to have more fun than the year before. Whether they are returning students or new students. I can't seem to remember a summer when we didn't host a french student. Every summer like clock work we would go and pick up the french student for that year. When I was younger I would usually fall asleep in my moms arms waiting for them as the bus pulled up at 9:00 at night. My mom would wake me up just as the students started to file out of the bus one by one. And every year I would be just as shy as the year before when I first would meet them. On the car ride home I would slowly open up to them and it would start a new adventure for both of us. For myself I would be meeting a new friend that I get to spend part of my summer with and for themselves they would experience a whole new part of the world. The orginization that my Mom places student for is called World Exchange and they will arrive July and August this year. Open your hearts and homes to a french student for 20 days and experience the joy of sharing america with a student from abroad.
