Fundraiser For Avon Schools Levy Committee On Monday

AVON, OH — On Monday, hungry Avon residents can show their support for the Avon Local Schools Levy Committee by dining at Chipotle. Diners can tell the cashier they're there to support the group and 33 percent of that meal's proceeds will be donated to the organization.

The promotion will run from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on October 14. To make the donation, guests can tell their cashier they're there to support the committee, or simply show the cashier the flyer. Chipotle is located at 35925 Detroit Road.

The Avon Local Schools Committee is advocating for Issues 8 and 9. Issue 8 is a 3.9-mill levy which will support district operations, and Issue 9 is a bond issue for the performing arts center and renovations. Issue 9 is not an increase on what residents currently pay, the committee said on its website.
