Graffiti Left At Bleser Park In Avon Lake

Police are investigating two incidents of vandalism at the park, according to police records.

AVON LAKE, OH — Over a span of about one week, vandals twice spray painted graffiti on a pavilion at Bleser Park. Police also believe an attempted arson took place at the park, according to Avon Lake police reports.

The first incident was reported on August 28. The city's public works department found the graffiti at the park and reported it to police. The letters "SNA" were spray painted at the pavilion multiple times, police said.

Then, during the early morning of Sunday, September 5, an officer on patrol saw signs of more vandalism at the park.

According to police reports, black spray painted graffiti was found at the bleachers in the park. The graffiti again read "SNA," a police spokesperson told Patch.

In addition to the graffiti, there were also signs of attempted arson at the park.
